How We Delivered the Manufacturing Resilience Forum

When manufacturing leaders need a room full of ideas, action, and honest conversation, you don’t build just another event. You build momentum.

That was the thinking behind the Manufacturing Resilience Forum, held at Nexus Leeds on 24th March 2026. The event brought together manufacturers, innovators, advisors, and sector specialists for a day focused on resilience, growth, and what comes next. From supply chains and sustainability to AI, talent, and future-ready factories, the agenda tackled the challenges manufacturers are facing right now.

From our side, we delivered the event from start to finish.

Why We Created the Forum

Manufacturing contributes £217 billion to the UK economy and supports 2.6 million jobs. It’s one of the country’s most important sectors, but it is also navigating volatility, economic pressure, changing technology, and increasing competition.

The aim of the Manufacturing Resilience Forum was simple. Bring manufacturing leaders into one room to share ideas, solve challenges, and build stronger businesses together.

The event also carried forward the momentum from Advancing Manufacturing Futures, which we delivered last year with West Yorkshire Combined Authority and the West Yorkshire Manufacturing Advisory Board. When there was no follow-up planned this year, we created the next chapter ourselves.

Building the Brand

Strong events need more than a logo and a venue.

We created the full event identity for the Manufacturing Resilience Forum, covering every touchpoint from first impression to final session. That included social media style setters, printed materials, on-site signage, presentation screens, and branded assets used throughout the delegate journey.

The result was a professional, confident brand presence that felt consistent from the first promotional post to the final networking conversation.

Driving Registrations and Building Momentum

We managed all event copy and communications in the lead-up to the forum. That included writing the event blurb, setting up the ticketing page, creating social campaigns, and delivering email marketing to drive registrations.

A key part of the strategy was activating the networks we have built across the manufacturing sector. We worked closely with organisations including Make UK, West Yorkshire Manufacturing Services, West Yorkshire Combined Authority, and other trusted industry partners, providing ready-to-use email copy, social assets, and promotional content to help extend the event’s reach. By tapping into established sector communities, we were able to put the event in front of the right audience quickly and credibly.

It is one of the advantages of working with a team embedded in the manufacturing space. We do not just know how to market to the sector, we know how to connect with the networks that matter.

Every message had a job to do. Build interest, create urgency, and keep the audience engaged before the doors even opened.

Securing Sponsors and Exhibitors

Commercial partnerships were a key part of the event’s success.

We developed the sponsorship deck, positioned the opportunity, and secured 7 sponsors along with 11 exhibitors. We also managed exhibitor briefing and support, making sure every partner arrived prepared and ready to have valuable conversations on the day.

A Better Delegate Experience with Our Event App

To make the event experience smoother and more connected, we also built a dedicated event app.

Attendees could access schedules, key information, and event content in one place, helping them get more value from the day and stay informed throughout the programme.

Simple, useful and sustainable tech always wins.

A Programme with Real Substance

This wasn’t a day of filler sessions or vague talking points.

The agenda focused on the topics manufacturers care about most, including resilient supply chains, stronger sales pipelines, AI adoption, exit planning, sustainability, talent pipelines, and factories of the future.

Setting the scene on resilience, Mandy Ridyard, Chair of Space Hub Yorkshire, Managing Director of ASG Aerospace, Chair of the West Yorkshire Business Board, and Business Advisor to the Mayor of West Yorkshire, delivered a compelling keynote address.

Panels and workshops featured voices from organisations including Airbus, Make UK, Universal Robots, Severfield, AW Hainsworth, and Ford Aerospace. Different perspectives, real experience, and practical insight people could actually use.

Lead Generation Support

Alongside the main agenda, delegates could book one-to-one sessions with our lead generation expert Jessica Farrow.

With more than seven years of experience delivering measurable results for leading manufacturing brands, Jessica specialises in bespoke lead generation strategies for complex and technical sectors.

These sessions gave attendees practical advice on generating high-quality leads in manufacturing, tailored to their business, market, and specific challenges. No recycled sales script. Just useful expertise.

Full Event Delivery on the Day

When the event went live, we managed the full on-site experience. That included speaker outreach and support, catering coordination, venue management, timings, logistics, and delegate experience.

When operations run smoothly, people focus on the conversations that matter. That is exactly how it should be.

Finishing with Energy

We closed the day with a live interactive quiz built on KwizzBit and updated throughout the event in real time.

It brought energy back into the room, tested what people had learned, and gave everyone one final reason to stay engaged right to the end.

Because useful events should also be enjoyable.

More Than an Event

The Manufacturing Resilience Forum was not about ticking boxes. It was about creating something valuable for a sector that deserves better conversations.

Better insight. Better connections. Better momentum.

And that is exactly what we delivered.
