Tech Trends & Property Sector Sea Change with Roby.ai
Our collaboration content series continues and we’ve found a corker to kick off March! Tom Reiss is Co-Founder & CEO at Roby.ai. Based out of both London and Tel Aviv, Tom’s team is building revolutionary technology to empower people and change the property industry for the better.
Tom’s outlook for the year ahead is rosey, he believes that in the UK, we have one of the most functioning and resilient economies and housing markets in Europe, and with the help of the continued government support, we’re in a really unique position to reap the benefits of our new-found, leaner, more agile IT infrastructure, one of the more favoured side effects of the global pandemic.
Tom, like a lot of others, the team here at Halston Marketing included, believes that we’re on the cusp of a revival, post-pandemic, and the hardest lessons learned, will garner the most important insights.
What’s the message?
We have some downtime before our economy opens its doors and we spring back into prosperity and our main marketing messaging over the next few months will be centered around what our clients can be doing to make the most of that time. The current lockdown may have been the worst in terms of morale for a lot of companies but we believe those who invest in their back-of-house now will see the benefits in the not-too-distant future!
The property sector has had a recent awakening when it comes to tech and we’re here to make their digitisation journey smoother. We’re on a constant mission to teach our clients the best ways of working with technology and that they don’t have to go for the one size fits all option!
We want to teach the property sector that they don’t have to buy off-the-shelf tech and pay for services they don’t necessarily need. Your internal processes should dictate how you use technology, not the other way around. Look for frictionless tech and interoperability at every stage of your buying journey.
So what does 2021 look like for Roby.ai?
We’ve seen a shift in trends, and property sector experts are no longer allowing big tech to pull the wool over their eyes. People are learning really quickly and becoming more discerning and prescriptive about what they want and need in the tech they acquire or subscribe to. We will soon see the off-the-shelf model fall by the wayside as we see growing demand for more tailored offerings, where flexibility is king. Technology will also no longer be in the hands of just one team, we’re seeing a democratisation of tech that will see citizen developers within all levels of a company looking to build tools for their own needs. Anyone delivering a tech platform should be switching to cater to this growing demand and offer a solution based on building blocks such as that being developed by the likes of Salesforce.
We’re also seeing an awaking when it comes to the RPA revolution! From chatbots to self-driving cars, automation is the toast of the town, but don’t be fooled into thinking it’s a flash in the pan. Businesses are striving to remain lean and pure productivity can only be derived through the automation of the tedium.
Is anything exciting happening at Roby.ai this year?
We’re expanding! Our solution transcends borders and we’re looking to set up shop across both Germany and the US in the coming year and really decentralise our solution.
