Space Hub Yorkshire is the central force behind the region’s space innovation movement. As a coordinator of space activity, the organisation champions new technologies, fosters collaboration, and opens up opportunities for space start-ups and researchers. With a clear mission—Unlocking Space for the people and businesses of Yorkshire—they aim to connect, promote, and guide innovation while driving skills, inclusion, and prosperity.

The Challenge

Space Hub Yorkshire set out to host a high-impact event exploring how SpaceTech is disrupting industries such as AgriTech, manufacturing, sustainability, public services, and finance. The goal was to feature top-tier speakers, spark real conversations, and make the content accessible and engaging for a diverse audience.

Our Role

After seeing the success of our previous events, Space Hub Yorkshire brought us in to lead every aspect of Space Tech Assembly—from concept to execution. Our involvement included:

Planning and Conceptualisation

Event Concept and Content Development: Created the event’s core concept, all content, and panel descriptors. Developed a detailed run of show, including specific aims for each panel discussion.

Event Branding, Marketing, and Promotion

Branding and Visual Identity: Designed the complete look and feel of the event, including logos and creative devices. Produced all printed materials, from pull-up banners to name badges.
Promotional and On-Site Assets: Developed email marketing campaigns, social media content, an event landing page, presentation screens for the main room, and agenda screens throughout the venue.
Marketing Strategy and Execution: Delivered a full email marketing and social media strategy—from planning to execution—to drive engagement and sign-ups.

Delegate and Speaker Coordination

Delegate Management: Handled the entire delegate experience. Built and managed the ticketing site, responded to all attendee queries, and ensured a smooth sign-up process.
Speaker Management: Supported 30 speakers, including a keynote, through collaborative briefing sessions and one-on-one prep to make sure they were fully ready for the day.

Venue and Event Management

Venue and Logistics Coordination: Worked with venue sponsor Nexus to ensure everything ran seamlessly, from room setup to schedule flow.
Catering: Coordinated catering services, including tea, coffee breaks, and a full lunch offering.
Media Production: Provided full video and photography coverage of the event, including an edited highlight reel for post-event sharing on social media.

The Space Tech Assembly successfully brought together experts, innovators, and the public to explore the future of space-enabled technologies across multiple industries. It was an event that combined insight, inspiration, and connection—all under one roof.
